We have the 1969 Chevy Camaro back in the paint booth. Everything is in final primer. We are painting the wheel wells, dash, back window trim and inside trunk satin black. After that we will take it out of the booth and put the sub frame and rear end back in.
Here are some of the parts for Dan’s 1968 Pontiac Beaumont in the paint booth. After painting and baking. We bake the parts at 125 degrees Fahrenheit for an hour after the spraying of the paint and clear is done. We will let them sit over night and then start the process of wet sanding (...)
We are working on Thomas and Kim’s 1969 Chevy Camaro and we have finished the body work underneath the car and have put it back on its suspension. The body panels have all been lined up. The body is in the spray booth fully masked and ready for first primer.
Dave’s 1948 Ford Anglia frame is back from powder coating. We had that stainless grade eight hardware come in and and we bolted it back together. The body is finally painted and we will now start wet sanding and polishing.

We are now in the painting stage of Dan’s 1968 Pontiac Beaumont restoration project. We painted the dash and front cowl semi gloss black and once they were dry over the weekend we masked it and painted inside the body shell, firewall and trunk. Tony’s 1965 Ford Mustang is in the paint booth for body paint. We should be painting the rest of the parts next week! Some wet sanding and polishing to follow and then we move on to assembly.
Tony’s 1965 Ford Mustang is getting platinum black sprayed on the underside of the body/rad support, the insides of doors and fenders and all the parts are platinum black as well. We will let it dry over the weekend and start prepping for the body colour next week.
Tony had an original mustang that was in rough shape so he decided to buy a new reproduction body from Golden Leaf Automotive and begin his project with that. While there was no rust to deal with there was a lot of fitting and changing panel gaps, we had to cut the backs of the (...)
