Here are some pictures of the 65 Mustang in first coats of super build primer. We will block this down starting with 100 grit and work our way up to 320 grit to get it ready for high build primer.
We now have all the metal work done on the 65 Mustang!!! We are getting ready to put two coats of epoxy primer on the body and all the parts. We will let that dry for a couple days and then bolt it all back together and line up everything before we start the body (...)
Well the 71 mustang is all painted. it has four coats of high build clear on it. We have baked it at 135F for 60 minutes. We will let it cure for a few more days and then start the wet sanding and polishing process.
Here is an update on the 67 Chevelle restoration. We had the car’s body sandblasted. We knew there were many holes in the dash and front upper and lower cowl, but the sandblaster always finds more!!! We will have to replace the metal on the door hinge panels along with the dash and the floor (...)
We have the 71 Ford Mustang convertible back on its wheels. The body panels are all lined up and we are doing the body work. When doing the body work the car must be on its wheels in order to get the gaps right. We never do any structural welding or body work on a (...)

New project at Randy Colyn Restorations. Pat has brought to us his 68 mustang GT convertible to finish/restore. Somebody else had already started the process with very poor results. Another new restoration project. Ken has brought to us his 1971 Ford Mustang Convertible 429ci four speed to restore. It is a southern car that looks to be in really nice shape for the year. Next we will put the car on rotisserie and get it sandblasted.
